Today Jessica took and PASSED her cosmetologist exam!!! I went with her to watch the babies while she took it and then took her out to a congratulatory lunch!! I’m so proud of her!
Now, just 3 more kids to get settled into a life and career! Well, at least for their first career. I guess I’m not much of a role model. I’ve shifted careers a good bit from Ag Engineering to childbirth education to publication layout to rancher to website design. I think I’ve finally settled on something that I really enjoy and that I can make a decent living at. And I’m 47 years old . . . . So maybe I shouldn’t expect my kids to get settled on something when they are in their 20s?

Good for Jessica! Tell her congrats from me too! I think you’re a fine role model Tina. . .it takes a lot to change careers as you’ve done (and done well). It shows your kids that you don’t HAVE to stay locked into one thing all your life!
