The Saskatoon Inn near the airport is our favorite hotel in Saskatoon. Here we are in the atrium area near their fabulous restaurant. We had fun Thursday night at dinner when we ordered fish and chips. The waitress asked if we wanted gravy with that? Well, I just had to ask, never having heard of gravy on fish and chips. She said they can serve gravy on the chips (french fries). So, then I got to wondering, is the gravy I’m thinking of the same as she’s talking about? So, I went ahead and asked what she meant by gravy. And, yes, it was the type of gravy I was thinking of, thickened chicken broth (brown gravy). Since I like to fully experience the location I’m at, I figured I’d try gravy with my fries. You should try it too!! Richard and I both really liked it. It’s hard to describe, but the fries are really enhanced by a dip in the gravy.
